Recurrence of migraine can very painful for the sufferer. If not stand it anymore, people who experiencing the migraines are usually directly consume medicines. But if not want to a lot of chemical medicines enter in your body, there are some nutrients that could be a helper in times of migraine coming.

Certain foods contain nutrients that can reduce the pain of migraine, or otherwise actually worsen the pain. At least before you consume chemical medicines, use natural way to relieve pain.

Here are some nutrients that could be a helper at a time when migraine recurrence, such as:

1. Vitamin B-2

Intake of vitamin B-2, known as riboflavin can reduce the pain of migraine. These vitamins are many contained in foods such as: almonds, broccoli, eggs, milk, Brussels sprouts, seeds, spinach, soybeans, meat and yogurt.

2. Magnesium

Magnesium helps reduce spasms that occur in the capillaries and muscles of the head and neck, the main factors causing migraines. Examples of foods that contain lots of magnesium among others vegetables beets, black walnuts, molasses, potatoes, melons, basil, green leafy vegetables, wheat flour, dry mustard, soy, tofu, spinach, Brazil nuts, cashews, peanuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds and cumin. Women need to increase magnesium levels during the menstrual cycle if often occur migraines.

3. Tryptophan

Tryptophan is an amino acid that works in the brain that tell to release serotonin or the hormone that makes you feel good. Low levels of serotonin in the blood can trigger migraines. Tryptophan contained in many foods such as turkey, peas, walnuts, almonds, red rice, wheat and sesame seeds.

4. Omega-3 fatty acids

Omega-3 fatty acids can help in controlling the symptoms of migraine with providing nutrients for proper brain function. In addition, omega-3 fatty acids are known to reduce inflammation throughout the cardiovascular system, which maybe have an effect on the capillary head and can help relieve migraines.

Foods high in omega-3 fatty acids among others: sardines, herring, tuna, salmon, mackerel, halibut, flaxseed, flaxseed oil, olive, olive oil, soybeans, pumpkin seeds and walnut oil.
