Got time to spare one minute? If yes, try walking, riding down stairs, or small running in place. Because according to a recent study, increased heart rate for one minute only, keep beneficial for the body.
There are a lot of physical activity that can be done in one minute throughout the day. If accumulated, researchers from the University of Utah believe that all of them give good impact for the health.
The link between physical activity and good health is indeed already asserted since the first. Because the sport is one of the effective ways to reduce various diseases of chronic. Call it obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, liver disease, kidney, and so forth.
Even so, rarely once there are people who exercise routine. Whereas, experts recommend if physical activity should be done a minimum of 150 minutes every week.
"This research proves if exercise actually it can be done with various ways and did not spend time," said researcher Jessie Fan.
Of course researchers only discuss the minimal benefits of exercise one minute, and the accumulation of physical activity throughout the day. But if want to get the maximum health benefits, a person needs to exercising more often.
The results of research then reported in the American Journal of Health Promotion.
