4 Types of food Which Dangerous when you Consume Medicine

Grapefruit is one of the types of food that should be avoided immediately after taking the medicine because of dangerous side effects. Not only grapefruit, there are some other foods that should be avoided while taking the drug.

Some drugs can be dangerous if eaten with certain foods. Because it's a good read labels on the drug packaging to find out what warnings you should consider. Or ask your doctor or pharmacist about what foods to avoid during taking the drug.

Here are foods that can cause danger if taken with certain medications, as quoted from CBCNews, Saturday (01/12/2012):

1. Foods that contain Vitamin K

Food rich in Vitamin K can make warfarin (anticoagulant or blood-thinning medication) less effective. Similarly, according to the National Institutes of Health UK. Warfarin is a commonly prescribed drug.

Foods that contain Vitamin K include parsley and coriander, green vegetables such as spinach and swiss chard, soy, beans, cheddar cheese, and green tea.

2. Black Likoris
