Smoking is still become a habit and the trend for urban communities this time, especially youth and adult age. Whereas, besides to damage the heart and lungs, smoking also can give bad influence for hair and skin.

Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute assisted with senior consultant dermatologist, Dr. Nipun Jain, examines how smoking habits can affect a person's appearance.

"Smoking can damage the hair and skin, and makes a person look far older. This is caused by the nicotine and other chemicals into the arteries vessels and block the flow of oxygen as well as important nutrients throughout the body," said Dr. Jain.

Here are 6 negative effects of smoking for healthy hair and skin, among others:

1. Sagging skin and wrinkles
The chemicals released from tobacco smoke trigger the destruction of collagen and elastin. This causes sagging skin and wrinkles which very clear.

2. Lines around the lips
When suck smoking, certain muscles around the lips are used in a way that can cause wrinkles. This can also cause loss of elasticity in the skin around the lips.

3. Freckles on the face
