Already many benefits of tea are proven in research. Now one again benefit of drinking black tea, which prevents cavities. According to investigators, diligent drinking three cups of black tea a day is able to make healthy the teeth, including the prevention of tooth decay and bleeding gums disease.

"Black tea that is drinked will fight the bacteria and Lactobacillus Streptococcus mutants, both are dealing with tooth decay and gum disease," said Dr. Carrie Ruxton.

Basically, when bacteria in the mouth react with carbohydrates, then will arise the acid melt tooth enamel. So that teeth more vulnerable to cavities until the date.
